Luke is a corporate and commercial lawyer who specialises in infrastructure and major resources projects and has extensive front end project development experience with a particular emphasis on infrastructure delivery and operations and major resourcing projects. Luke specialises in the negotiation and documentation of contractual arrangements including EPC, EPCM, ECI, D&C and O&M contracts and associated procurement.
Luke’s practice extends to claims management and he has significant experience in relation to claims under the Building and Construction Industry (Security of Payment) Act 2021 (acting for both claimants and respondents) on a range of projects.
A corporate and commercial lawyer with a diverse practice, Luke also advises on acquisitions and divestments, shareholders agreements, royalties and streaming arrangements and commodity/utility sales arrangements.
Luke has formerly worked for major mining companies, engineering firms, and contractors in the mining and engineering sector. Prior to his career in the mining and engineering sector, he was employed by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) as a lawyer in the area of financial services regulation.
Anton specialises in providing advice on all aspects of public and private mergers and acquisitions (including private treaty sales and acquisitions of securities and assets, as well as regulated acquisitions), private equity transactions, reconstructions, initial public offerings and back-door listings, other fundraisings and projects and infrastructure (including supply agreements, joint ventures, farm-ins and split-commodity arrangements), with a particular focus on the technology, agribusiness, and energy and resources sectors.
Anton has been recognised in a list of Australia’s top 109 lawyers as voted by General Counsel (members of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association and the Corporate Lawyers Association of New Zealand) and published in The Australian on 1 September 2010.
